Ukraine ridicules Putin's forces, holds 'parade' of destroyed Russian military equipment

"In February, Russians were planning a parade in downtown Kyiv," Ukrainian Armed Forces tweeted sharing video of the mock parade of damaged Russian tanks.

Ukraine on Saturday, August 20 ridiculed Moscow's forces and Russia's president Vlimir Putin as y held a mock pare of destroyed Russian military tanks in capital Kyiv. Ahe of its independence day on August 24, Kyiv's forces held a pare of damaged military equipment of Russians on  ro in capital Kyiv. Ukrainian citizens were seen taking selfies and cheering as y stood on broken-down Russian armoured tanks, in a display to humiliate Moscow.

As footage went viral online, Ukrainians mocked how Russia originally h claimed to capture  capital Kyiv within two days of invasion.  clip circulating on Twitter h been viewed more than 1.3 million times. "In February, Russians were planning a pare in downtown Kyiv," Ukrainian Armed Forces tweeted sharing video.

This, said UK's Defense Ministry in its intelligence update, has degred Russian forces capability to counter incoming projectiles from Ukrainian side.

Ukraine's ambassor to Estonia, Mariana Betsa, reminded that  Ukrainian armed forces spokesman Oleksandr Hruzevych in April h learnt that Russian soldiers launching offensive h brought pare uniforms with m, expecting a victory soon. "Russia wanted to have a pare in Kyiv. Well, be careful what you wish for..." she tweeted. "Destroyed Russian tanks in Khreschatyk - Kyiv main square. Ukraine will prevail," she ded. Hruzevych h stated that Russian military h left pare uniforms in abandoned vehicles after y retreated.
