Ukraine's official Twitter handle launches social media war against Russia; warns everyone

Ukraine has been asking for global support in its information warfare against Russia and has requested the users to only spread verifiable information.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, who has pledged to give Russians a tough fight, is also fighting on an often neglected but crucial front. Kyiv has launched an all-out social media war against Russian President Vlimir Putin and his massive army as it is roasting Kremlin and calling out rest of world in its support. Ever since Russian invasion began in Ukraine today, latter's Twitter handle has been fairly active and engaging.

Ukraine tags Twitter to remove Russia from micro-blogging site

Kyiv is not holding back in making Russia pay for violating its sovereignty as it has urged users to demand removal of Russia from Twitter. In its latest tweet, Ukraine tagged Twitter saying re is “no place for an aggressor like Russia on western social media platforms”. “y should not be allowed to use se platforms to promote ir image while brutally killing Ukrainian people (sic)”, Ukraine ded in its post.

Ukraine shares tender moment between Putin and olf Hitler

In a post that has now gone viral, Ukraine shared an illustration showing German dictator olf Hitler having a tender moment with Vlimir Putin. In anor tweet that followed, Ukraine wrote, "This is not a ‘meme’, but our and your reality right now", implying that offense by Russia is no less than aggression Germany showed under Hitler's rule. 

Ukraine calls for global support 

Ukraine has also been asking for global support in its information warfare and has requested users to only spre verifiable information with hashtag 'Stop Russian Aggression'. Moreover, it also urged support for "organisations that strengn Ukraine's defense capabilities". "Russia has started new wave of aggression against Ukraine. Wherever you are, whatever you do, you can help Ukraine now. You can help Ukraine against Russian aggression", Twitter post re. Besides, it even warned everyone of potential disinformation, fake photos and videos Russia might use for its agenda.

In order to bolster its efforts in stopping Russian invasion, Ukraine has even shared a link for people to provide financial assistance to Ukrainian army. Days before Putin began 'military operation', reports h revealed that nation was training even its citizens to handle weapons to ensure a fighting chance against mighty Russia. It is worth mentioning that Putin has deployed around 1.5 to two lakh soldiers around Ukraine whereas latter has total army strength of two lakh. 

Ukraine asks for your opinion on Russia

Launching anor attack against Kremlin, Ukraine shared a tweet asking users to tag Russia and share ir opinion on aggressor. Amid tense situation, Ukraine me sure to update feed as it wrote, "Tag @Russia and tell m what you think about m". post has attracted a lot of eyeballs and has managed to garner a fair amount of criticism for Putin.
