Ukraine's 'special' Shaman Battalion pilots successful raids on Russian territory: Report

In a major revelation, a media report claimed that the "specially trained" Ukrainian soldiers are now raiding Russian territory "secretly".

In a major revelation, a media report claimed that "specially trained" Ukrainian soldiers are currently raiding Russian territory "secretly". According to a report by Times, Ukraine has assigned its highly trained professional group, known as " Shaman Battalion" to focus on damaging Russian infrastructures which have been used for targetting Ukrainian territory. Though timeline of attack is yet to be ascertained, media report claimed that Shaman fighters were strictly vised not to reveal anything in public domain and were directed to accomplish mission "secretly". As of now, report claimed battalion raided Russian oil refineries, munition storage facilities, and communication infrastructure. se are considered most crucial mechanisms of war.

It is pertinent to mention here that Shaman Battalion comprises highly-skilled warriors who have completed vanced training, including diving, parachuting, and mountain climbing in most remarkable way. Besides, perfect physical strength is an obligatory prerequisite for enrolling on this military group. y are usually assigned tasks related to intelligence operations. To conduct operations in Russia, y are known by ir call-signs “onis” and “22”. According to British daily national newspaper, Shaman Battalion was involved in operations and was going deeper into Russia.

"Operations on enemy’s territory are most interesting missions"

A senior Shaman fighter, who spoke to Times on condition of anonymity, revealed battalion was using helicopters to transport fighters to Russian territory. He claimed y were using special operation techniques of flying and were moved close to ground as possible without being noticed by Russian air defences. fighter asserted that operations on enemy’s territory were "most interesting missions" and ded soldiers were using explosives after crossing frontlines and state border. According to "onis", Moscow can't even believe that Ukrainian army was behind recent raids in ir territory. "Most of time, y just can’t believe we’ve paid m a visit," ded senior fighter. However, Russia has not responded to claims and neir acknowledges any such damages caused by a "unanimous" group.

It is worth mentioning Russia initiated a full-fledged war against Ukraine nearly two days after Vlimir Putin signed a decree recognising independence of breakaway regions Donetsk and Luhansk. Putin's action came despite West's repetitive warning and speculations about his ill intention to inve Ukraine. On February 24, Russian troops started a military operation against Ukraine. Since n, it has been bombarding several cities in Ukraine, resulting in killing of thousands of civilians.
