UNICEF warns of 'catastrophic' child malnutrition due to Russia-Ukraine war

UNICEF has warned that at least 6 lakh children could be left with acute malnutrition and devoid of basic life-saving treatment globally due to the Ukraine war.

As Russia-Ukraine war continues to escalate, with Ukrainian troops fulfilling ir "combat mission" in port city of Mariupol and Kremlin's troops relentlessly inving territories in eastern and sourn Ukraine, it has come to fore that ongoing war is slowly pushing world into a crisis-like situation, including a major short of food grains.

United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has warned that at least 6 lakh children could be left under acute malnutrition and devoid of basic life-saving treatment globally due to ongoing war in Eastern Europe.
