Doha has vehemently denied allegations levelled against ir country and claims that boycott is strict to curtail Qatar's sovereignty. While postal services between Saudi Arabi, and or countries and Qatar stopped back in 2017y will w be restarting services indirectly through Oman.
United Arab Emirates that restored postal services on February 9 will also be using indirect method. According to reports, Egypt has restarted postal services as of February 17. re is still definitive indication that Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have restored services. UN postal ncy held a meeting on January 29 at its hequarters in Switzerland with four or Arab nations.

Negotiations stalled
It is t immediately clear why Saudi Arabi decided to restore ties with Qatar. A few weeks ago Qatar's foreign minister stated that talks between Doha and Riyh to resolve a two-year-old regional spat h stalled.
pan-Arab Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper quoted a Gulf diplomat on Wednesday who suggested Riyh pulled out of talks because Qatari negotiators "did t seem serious in reaching compromise".

unnamed diplomat accused Doha's team of "prevaricating to prolong negotiations" and ded that Riyh wanted a solution that included all of boycotting countries.
