Saudi Oil attacks: UK, France, and Germany hold Iran responsible
France, Germany and the United Kingdom issued a joint statement where they said that Iran is fully responsible for the attacks on Saudi oil facilities

France, Germany, and United Kingdom have jointly issued a statement on Tuesday where y have blamed Iran for attacks on Saudi oil facilities. “It is clear to us that Iran bears responsibility for this attack. re is or plausible explanation. We support ongoing investigations to establish furr details,” re statement. However, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohamm Jav Zarif denied claims and said, “If Iran were behind this attack, thing would have been left of this refinery.”

commitment to nuclear deal
Even after a firm statement regarding attacks on Abqaiq and Khurais oil facilities, all three countries reaffirmed ir support for 2015 Iran nuclear deal. “We recall our continued commitment to JCPoA, agreed with Iran on July 14th, 2015 and unanimously endorsed by UN Security Council,” joint statement re. But countries urged Iran to reverse its decision to reduce compliance with deal and asked Iran to cooperate with International Atomic Energy ncy (IAEA) in framework of deal.

need for a long-term framework for nuclear programme
“We reiterate our conviction that time has come for Iran to accept negotiation on a long-term framework for its nuclear programme as well as on issues related to regional security, including its missiles programme and or means of delivery,” said three countries emphasizing on urgency of action. France, Germany, and UK said that Saudi oil attacks were a concern for all countries and it highlights necessity of de-escalation in region through sustained diplomatic efforts and engment with all parties.

'De-escalation', primary objective
Earlier, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson h asserted that Iran was behind Saudi oil attacks. Johnson said that UK would make an attempt to 'de-escalate rising tensions' in middle-east with help of allies. British Prime Minister will also meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on sidelines of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Foreign Minister of France Jean-Yves Le Drian h also declared that his country's main objective at UNGA was to de-escalate tensions between US and Iran.
