Saudi Princess makes public appeal for her release from prison citing medical reasons

In an unprecedented turn of events revealing instability of Saudi royal family, a prominent princess of kingdom, Princess Basmah bint Saud, who was detained without any charges, me a public appeal to be released from jail in a letter on April 16. Saudi Princess took to Twitter to post, which is w deleted, about how her “health is deteriorating” and cited medical complications for her freedom from high-security prison. 56-year-old was arrested in March 2019 just before she was travelling to Switzerland, reportedly for medical treatment.

In post, Princess Basmah said that she was being held in prison “without criminal, or orwise any charges” and confessed that her medical condition might le to her death. She also explained how letters sent by her to Royal Court have been left unanswered and she has t received any medical care while in prison. Saudi Princess claimed that she was “thrown into prison” after being “abducted without an explanation” along with one of her daughters.

150 members of Saudi royal family infected
