Hawaii: A former Secret Service agent has been fired after bringing his girlfriend to former US President Barack Obama's beachside Hawaii home while he was on a task to protect former president and his family. agent, who was referred to as "Dale" by his ex-girlfriend, Koryeah Dwanyen, in her new book ‘Undercover Heartbreak: A Memoir of Trust and Trauma’, invited her to Hawaii estate in 2022 during Obama family's absence, a foreign media reported.

Reportedly, agent, who was tasked with protecting Barack Obama, his wife Michelle Obama, and ir daughters Sasha and Malia, h been seeing Koryeah Dwanyen, who wrote a tell-all book about ir relationship. Dwanyen claimed that agent, Dale, invited her to Obamas’ home and offered to have sex in First Ly's bathroom “like a mile-high club”.

Dwanyen claimed in her book, which was published on October 28, that said agent told her, "No one will know. If anything, I'm one who could get in trouble".

Secret Service Confirmed Incident Saying, Said Agent Was Dismissed

According to reports, Secret Service too has confirmed that an incident like one described in book did happen and that agent was dismissed from job as a result.

chief of communications for US Secret Service, Anthony Guglielmi, said that agent was immediately suspended after allegations surfaced and was later terminated after investigation proved that allegations were true.

“On November 6, 2022, a Secret Service agent, involved in protective functions, brought an individual, who did not have authorised access into a protectees’ residence, without permission,” he said.

“As soon as Secret Service became aware of incident, agent involved was immediately suspended and after a full investigation, terminated,” Guglielmi said ding that protectees weren't present when incident happened, but agent's activities were a grave breach of agency's policies and protectees' trust.

As per revelations, Dwanyen met agent while she was on vacation in Martha's Vineyard, where he was tasked with protecting Obama family.

In her book, Dwanyen revealed that agent claimed that he was divorced. However, she later found out that he was still married. In her telephone interview with ABC News, she stated that one of her friends warned, "You were a walking national security risk".

Dwanyen's memoir has raised questions about Secret Service's working culture and agent's ability to breach security protocols, while concern has also been raised demanding a need for reform in agency.

Notably, Secret Service faced intense scrutiny after an assassination attempt on US President-elect Donald Trump, while he was campaigning at a rally in Pennsylvania’s Butler in July before presidential elections. That incident prompted immediate ouster of n Secret Service director.
