Shane Nigam's troubles mount; Producers' Association bans Ishq actor, cancels two movies

Kerala Film Producers' Association (KFPA) reportedly has decided to cancel three major projects that were featuring Ishq actor Shane Nigam in lead roles. president of association M. Ranjith opened up at a press conference in Kerala about alleged rampant drug abuse on locations and film sets in Malayalam industry. se drug abuse mainly involved new young actors and Ranjith also welcomed investigations by excise department to crack down on substance abuse.

Since n, controversies have been coming up regarding Shane Nigam's ban. associate representatives have declared a ban on actor in press meeting which was held on Thursday. re were more allegations raised against young actor. It is also reportedly said that actor violated contract by demanding more money to cooperate with dubbing of movie. Following ban, Shane Nigam's upcoming projects like Veyli and Qurbani have been cancelled. producers of se projects have reportedly demanded compensation of ₹7crore from Shane for cancelling two movies.

associate reprentatives, Siyad Kokker and M Ranjith, reportedly mentioned at press conference that such an incident has never taken place in Mollywood's 90-year-long history. He also added that or actor has behaved in manner that Shane did. representative also felt need to carry out frequent discussions with Shane to continue shooting of his movies. y also reportedly said that Shane was t cooperating with two movies from initial phase itself. He was forced to contact his mor and she got everything under control after that. representatives also said that Shane demanded that producers should t visit shoot location, and he also left from re on a bike due to which shooting was interrupted.

associate representatives reportedly furr said that after leaving shooting location, Shane mocked crores of people by sharing picture of his makeover with a new haircut on social media. re was a complaint raised against him regarding a connection with movie Ullasam. Shane also signed contract of ₹25lakh but he demanded ₹20 lakh more to come for shooting. Superstars like Mohanlal and Mammootty have never behaved in such a way, according to association.
