A woman from New Zealand has been sentenced to jail for six and a half months in Singapore after she bit a female police officer's arm in a drunk state.

A woman from New Zealand has been sentenced to jail in Singapore after she bit a female cop's arm in a drunk state, according to foreign media reports. woman named Katie Christina Rakich came to Singapore in month of June this year according to court documents. She was alrey drunk at that time when she, her younger sister, and sister's boyfriend went out to have dinner on night of incident. three went to ar bar where she allegedly h more to drink, following which y returned to sister's apartment. Rakich who was clearly under influence of alcohol became rowdy and started screaming, creating a nuisance. Her sister who works as a teacher in a Singapore school h to n call local police. woman was arrested on spot and taken to a police station.

Sentenced to six months in jail
When woman was being taken out of police car, she suddenly bit left arm of a female police officer who was with her. prosecutor told court that bite was dangerous and forceful which caused great injury to victim. Benedict Teong n told court that she h let victim go only after ar officer got involved. Teong furr ded that after she bit officer, her mouth h blood on it and after some time woman even punched ar female cop in ear. ly officer who suffered a serious injury due to bite was treated at a hospital. Tetanus and hepatitis shorts which were to victim which ds acts as a precautionary drug to prevent any probability of HIV. accused was sentenced to jail for six and a half months. She h been jailed on October 14 after pleing guilty to causing serious injury to a government servant. defence lawyer said that since she has been in custody ever since incident occurred, she is eligible for a one-third reduction in her prison sentence which may bring down her term to four months.
