Pennsylvania: US President Joe Biden , on Saturday, aimed at Republican presidential nominee and former US President Donald Trump and his supporters during his speech in Pennsylvania’s Scranton saying that these were the type of people "you smack in the a**". The outgoing US president was speaking to a carpenters' union when he stated that Trump and his allies were the kind of people one might want to confront directly.

Biden, while speaking in Pennsylvania's Scranton, criticised Trump and his supporters, suggesting that he would hit back on faux "macho guys". “There’s one more thing Trump and his Republican friends want to do. They want to have a giant tax cut for the wealthy,” he said.

"Now, I know some of you guys are tempted to think it’s macho guys. I tell you what, man, when I was in Scranton, we used to have a little trouble going down the plot once in a while. These are the kind of guys you’d like to smack in the a**," Biden added.

“There’s one more thing Trump and his Republican friends want to do: they want to implement a massive tax cut for the wealthy,” Biden stated, before making a comment about the perception of “macho guys.” He recalled his time in Scranton, saying, “These are the kind of guys you’d like to smack in the a**.”

Biden's remarks sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. Some users criticized him, with one claiming, "Biden has officially endorsed Trump. He keeps hurting Kamala’s campaign." Another commented, "Joe’s been hanging out with Tim too much."

As the presidential election approaches on November 5, Biden's remarks come amidst a heated campaign, with Vice President Kamala Harris challenging Trump. Both candidates have been actively appearing on various TV and radio shows to engage voters.

Recent CNN opinion polls indicate a tight race between Harris and Trump in key battleground states, underscoring the competitive nature of the upcoming election.
