South Korea raises minimum age of consent to protect children from sex crimes

latest development came after South Korea's ruling Democratic Party on April 23 agreed to raise of consent from 13 to 16. Ministry of Justice h earlier said a 13-year-old is t mature eugh to consent to sexual acts and proposed raising of at which a person is legally considered old eugh to consent.
