South Korea reports 571 new coronavirus cases, total surpasses 2,000
South Korea announced 351 more cases on February 28 bringing the number of new infected to 571 in a single day. South Korea reported more new cases than China.

Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention anunced on afteron of February 28 on its website that South Korea h 315 new confirmed coronavirus cases which would bring daily number of new cases to 571. This single-day rise in number of infected cases is greater than increase reported by China.
Largest concentration of infected outside China
total number of infected cases in South Korea stands at 2,022. According to Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 90 per cent of confirmed virus cases are in Daegu and in neighbouring province of rth Gyeongsang. death toll remains at 13 with new deaths reported.

Hyundai has decided to suspend activities at one of its factories in South Korea’s souastern city of Ulsan after a worker tested positive for new coronavirus. According to reports, carmaker anunced suspension of production on February 28. As a result of closure, shares of carmaker have reportedly dropped more than 5 per cent.
As per reports, this latest closure of factory in South Korea comes just as Hyundai was grually resuming production at local plants in wake of virus outbreaks. coronavirus outbreak has severely affected rmal operation in companies like Hyundai and Samsung.

company's statement also claimed that factory where infected worker was working will undergo disinfection before being re-opened. factory is located in Ulsan which is less than an hour from epicentre of outbreak in Korea, Daegu city. As per reports, Hyundai has five car factories in Ulsan, all five factories have an annual production capacity of 1.4 million vehicles or nearly 30% of Hyundai’s global production. It also employs 34,000 people in Ulsan. factory that was shut down specialised in producing sport utility vehicles such as Palise, Tucson, Santa Fe and Genesis GV80.
