Spanish reality TV show under fire over handling of alleged rape
Major companies have pulled out advertising from the Spanish version of the reality TV show Big Brother over its handling of the alleged rape during filming.

Major companies have pulled out vertising from world-kwn Spanish version of hit reality TV show Big Bror over its handling of alleged rape during filming of popular programme. A court is currently investigating a complaint from one of participants of show, Carlota Pro who claims that she was raped by ar contestant Jose Maria Lopez Perez while she was unconscious in vember 2017 inside show's house near Mrid after an alcohol party.
Nearly 20 companies including Nestle, Nissan, and BBVA took on Twitter to anunce that y h pulled out ir vertising from show which brocasts on a most-watched TV channel in Spain. This was in response to social media campaign which urged m to do so. spokesperson for Carretilla told an international ncy on vember 28 that firms have withdrawn ir sponsorship of programme 'like so many or brands' because y 'do t share values'.

show, Big Bror is about contestants living in a house for several months without any access to outside world. After Pro's claims, producers h expelled Perez at that time from show. ims and clips of alleged rape which reportedly happened under a duvet were never aired. However, entire case was again put in spotlight last week by a confidential report of an international entertainment media outlet, which said that Pro h only realised about her rape when Big Bror's producers showed her foot, which caused her to break down.

newspaper also released video taken from show's 'confession room' where contestants talk to camera about ir experiences that Pro who was 24 that time, was devastated as she was asked to watch foot. At one point, Pro tearfully begged producers to stop showing video and let her leave room. producers of show, however, did t appear on camera. Pro later said in an exclusive interview that re should have been someone by her side, like a psychologist who would have helped her get through 'difficult ims'.

She also claims, that producers never asked her before showing 'ims', because if y h, Pro would have refused. owner of company which produces show, Endemol Shine Group said that foot was ever shot with intention of brocasting, however, y later ded that in 'hindsight it regrets'.
