Sri Lanka set to create Guinness World Record with largest twin gathering in Jan

The Sri Lanka Twins Organisation is preparing for world’s largest twin gathering ever in January 2020 to set a Guinness World Record during a cultural event.

Sri Lanka Twins Organisation is preparing for world’s largest twin garing ever in January 2020 to set a Guinness World Record. World Largest Twins’ Garing and Twins Cultural Evening will be held from January 20-26 and record will be set during  Sri Lanka Twins Convention at Sugathasa Indoor Stium in Colombo.

organisation represents 28,000 twin brors and sisters from across country and cultural event will be held to celebrate uniqueness of twins and multiples. According to organisation, ‘ Largest Twins Garing’ event will represent twins/multiples community and ir individuality while making a stand for a brighter and peaceful world. Sri Lanka Twins Organization Founder and Chairman Upuli Gamage has also extended invitation for iconic event to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Any twin and multiple from around world can be a part of event but y have to furnish a copy of ir birth certificate and a copy of passport or national ID. Participants are required to have all official documents with m as legal registrations for validating event through Guinness guidelines will take place on day.

participants will arrive in Negombo, a major city Sri Lakan city situated north of, on January 19. largest twin garing will take place on January 20 in Colombo and n cultural event will move to Dambulla. Kandy, last capital of ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka, will organise cultural evening on January 22.

Objective of organisation

Sri Lanka Twins was founded in 1993 by Upuli and Chamali Gamage to promote spiritual, intellectual and social welfare of twins. twins, registered in organisation, are from across religions, including Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, among ors. According to organisation, such events create an opportunity to build religious harmony, affection & enthusiasm. Its objective is to increase awareness of unique needs of twins and fulfil ir obligations through well-wishers and generous donors.
