New research has found evidence which proves that re is an association between having a dog and longer life, particularly for those who have suffered from heart attacks and strokes. studies were published on October 8, in journal called Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes.

In first study attempted in Sweden, results of a dog owner and a n-dog owner were compared after heart attack. A total of 182,000 people who have suffered from a heart attack and 155,000 who suffered from strokes were examined. se people were compared with those without dogs. study revealed that dog owners who lived alone that 33 percent fewer chances of dying and those who lived with family h a 15 percent lower risk. results clearly proved that having a dog is beneficial.
