This is peak season to visit Mt. Fiji as climbers literally have to wait in queues and get stranded in between ir pass. Mt. Fuji is Japan's highest and prominent mountain range with a maximum height of 3776 meters. buses from Tokyo's Shinjuku district are available to drop climbers off at a station from where actual trek begins which is located at an altitude of 2300 meters from sea level which acts as main point of majestic mountain. This is main point from where people begin ir long-awaited journey.

Yoshida trail is most convenient and popular among routes to reach top of mountain which is picked by most of trekkers. climbers wear helamps and carry heavy packs d feet apart to ensure safety on rugged and rocky terrain. It takes around five to six hours for an aver hiker to reach summit. Most of hikers spend nights at makeshift camps and tents. hikers reveal that it's a very good moment to accommodate ors.

To get a glimpse of sunrise from summit of nation's most iconic mountain is a challenging task. Watching orange sky atop mountain is mesmerizing and a matter of sheer luck. climbing season generally runs from early July to early September. Mount Fuji will open to general public a couple of weeks before Tokyo Summer Olympics opening ceremony on July 24.
