Swedish activist Greta Thunberg meets Prince of Wales

Britain's Prince of Wales met climate activist Greta Thunberg in Davos on Wednesday, after telling world leaders "we simply cannot waste any more time" in the battle to save the planet.

Britain's Prince of Wales met climate activist Greta Thunberg in Davos on Wednesday, after telling world leers "we simply cant waste any more time" in battle to save planet.

In a keyte dress at World Ecomic Forum, Charles urged government and business chiefs to help private sector le " world out of approaching catastrophe".

Speaking to a journalist after meeting Thunberg, he said: "She's remarkable. She represents one of main reasons why I've been trying to make all this effort all se years because, as I said, I didn't want my grandchildren to accuse me of t doing something about this in time and of course re y are."

meeting came after 17-year-old activist clashed with U.S. President Donald Trump, after he said Thunberg should focusing on or continents when it came to pollution.

On Tuesday he described climate activists as “perennial prophets of doom.”

After an anuncement that US plans to join in an initiative to plant 1 trillion trees worldwide, Thunberg commented that while it was a positive move, it was “where near eugh.”
