Syrian refugees in Lebanon call on UN to solve crisis
As the world marks refugee day on Saturday, Syrian refugees in Lebanon have called on the United Nations to find a solution for the Syrian crisis and to send them back to their country.

In town of Bar Elias near Syrian border in East Leban, refugees in Al-Hindi camp are living in dire conditions and lacking food supplies.

camp hosts 450 Syrian refugees from Homs, Damascus and Quneitra provinces who live in 68 tents.
Speaking to Associated Press on Friday ahe of World Refugee Day, Khaled Sheha, a 68-year Syrian refugee from Homs province said people in camp were living below poverty line.

He pleed with United Nations to send him back to his country.
He said: "We have been here for ten years, it is becoming too long. With current expensive life conditions here (in Leban) people are w below zero (poverty line)."

influx of Syrian refuges to small Middle Eastern neighbouring country Leban has weakened vulnerable state and negatively impacted its ecomy and infrastructure.
Leban has suffered in recent years from a lack of ecomic growth, high unemployment and a drop in hard currency inflows from abro.

But financial crisis erupted after nationwide protests over widespre corruption and deces of mismanment by ruling political class engulfed country in October last year.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees' spokesperson in Leban, Lisa Abou Khaled called on international community and dor countries to keep supporting Leban and refugees.

Leban, a country with 5 million inhabitants, has absorbed more that 1.5 million Syrians since start of Syrian crisis nine years ago.
