Taiwan celebrated its first pride pare on Saturday, October 26, after legalising gay marri. re were more than 200,000 people that danced and marched through Taipei wearing rainbow colours to support historic decision of legalising same- marri in Asia. sight was vibrant and people looked happy.

As per reports, re are more than 2,000 gay couples who tied ir kts after verdict and participated in Saturday celebration. Taiwan is famous for its largest pride marches. island has hosted several such pride pares since long, but decision of legalizing gay marris gave LGBT community ar reason to call for a big celebration. verdict was anunced in month of May this year when lawmakers of Taiwan legalized same-sex marri. Taiwan becomes first in Asia to do so.

people of LGBT community were excited after verdict and felt recognised for ir sexual preferences. y were happy that state validated ir identity and w y can love and live freely. decision will bridge social disparities bringing world toger. During pride pare people worn vibrant colours, mostly representing rainbow. One can witness people dancing with gym-honed bodies, to unicorns and rainbow colours in air. Many people posted on Twitter beautiful pictures of pride pare with many happy faces.

Taiwan has been progressive in its approach to gay marris 

Some expressed that y feel proud to be part of Taiwan which has portrayed a progressive attitude towards gay marris and increasingly organising large pride pares. re were 170,000 people who attended festival. However, considering same-sex equality, re is a sense of polarization in society.
