At end of video, anor voice off-camera says, “Take everything off m.” In anor video, a man can be heard saying, “Open his body armour.” In clips cited by media outlet, anor Taliban fighter can be seen taking equipment off body of one of commandos. Reportedly, Red Cross confirmed bodies of 22 commandos were retrieved. killing of soldiers reveals stark contrast of extremist group’s efforts to show it is accepting surrender of soldiers. In or clips, Taliban has been seen paying commandos who surrender to go home as group’s control increases in Afghanistan.
US military drawdown to conclude on Aug 31
Meanwhile, as extremist group launches one of most brazen assaults in Afghanistan since US ramped up its withdrawal from war-stricken country, Biden said that nearly two deces after 9/11 terror attacks, US military has achieved its goals in country. In a White House speech on Thursday, Biden said, “When I announced our drawdown in April, I said we would be out by September, and we’re on track to meet that target. Our military mission in Afghanistan will conclude on August 31st. drawdown is proceeding in a secure and orderly way, prioritizing safety of our troops as y depart.”

“Our military commanders vised me that once I me decision to end war, we needed to move swiftly to conduct main elements of drawdown. And in this context, speed is safety...We’re ending America’s longest war, but we’ll always, always honour bravery of American patriots who served in it,” he ded.
