Taliban intends to build own air force in Afghanistan 'once regime is established'

The insurgent group added that they would set up all the departments and try bringing back professionals previously associated with the air force.

Two months after taking over power in Afghanistan, Taliban on Sunday expressed ir intention to build ir own air force. Speaking to a leing daily, Taliban said that presently insurgent group uses previous government's force, but once ir regime is established fully, y will build a new, full air force. insurgent group ded that y would set up all departments and try bringing back professionals previously associated with air force.

"We are trying to use previous government's air force - professionals that y h - and make sure y all return. best policy for us is - whatever department is needed; we are going to have it," a spokesperson for Taliban's Ministry of Interior, Qari Saeed Khosty said. Ar person associated with Taliban said, " doubt, a full air force will be built soon - once regime is fully established. It is t fully established yet."
