Influencer marketing is the new trend of the modern era and being an Influencer certainly paves way for several opportunities. The society, however, has a notion of reducing the influencers as merely fashion fiestas. Xenia Tchoumi, an influencer is highly qualified and is well versed in six different languages. She left her banking job to pursue being an influencer.
Xenia Tchoumi chose to be an influencer
The Swiss-Italian influencer Xenia Tchoumi can speak six different languages which include Russian, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. She has a graduate degree in economics and was offered a job as an investment banker in the JP Morgan company. But she refused the job offer and started her career as an influencer. Initially, she launched her online magazine with approximately 1.6 million followers on Instagram. She gave three motivational speeches at the TEDx talks. Tchoumi was also seen walking down the ramp at the Paris Fashion Week.
Influencers can be hard working and intelligent people
Xenia Tchoumi in her interview with international media said that generalizing the profession of Influencer is very reductive in its approach. She asserted that there are several influencers who have different talents and attributes. An influencer is a group of people who can lead the society in a certain direction. She said that generally people with a huge number of followers are tagged influencers but that’s very basic. She reflected that many influencers seem overrated and shallow, however, there are other inspiring societies with their hard work and intelligence.
The unconventional profession
The path of being an influencer is certainly different from the traditional professions, but Tchoumi believes that her role has empowered her. She likes being an influencer because her role gives her the freedom to work as and when required, and she can raise the concerns of society. Her role also allows empowerment while dealing with big brands, fashion houses, and professionals in this field.
