A new coronavirus mask has been developed by Israeli inventors which has a special feature in it with a remote control mouth that allows diners to eat food.

A new coronavirus mask has been developed by Israeli inventors which has a special feature in it with a remote control mouth that allows diners to eat food without taking it off. As per reports, unique mask has a slot in front of mask so that food can pass through it easily. Asaf Gitelis, vice president of Avtipus Patents and Inventions reportedly said that mask can be operated mechanically by a hand remote or automatically when food reaches mask. He added that people can eat, enjoy and drink, and when fork is taken out of mouth, it gets automatically closed which will help protect against coronavirus.

company reportedly said that it plans to start manufacturing masks within months and had already submitted a patent. It reportedly added that mask could sale at a price of ($0.85 to $2.85). According to international media reports, Israel has reopened its ecomy to some extent after a huge plunge of coronavirus cases.

Facemasks reduce risk of coronavirus

Meanwhile, a study conducted by Hong Kong researchers reportedly said on May 17 that tests on hamsters reveal widespread use of facemasks reduces contraction of deadly coronavirus.  According to reports, University of Hong Kong research is first of its kind to specifically investigate wher masks can curb spread of symptomatic and asymptomatic COVID-19 carriers from infecting ors. As per reports, study which was led by Professor Yuen Kwok-yung, kwn to be one of world's top coronavirus expert said that team placed hamsters which were artificially infected with disease next to healthy animals. 

researchers placed surgical masks between two cs with airflow travelling from infected animals to healthy ones. researchers concluded from study that n-contact transmission of virus could be minimised by up to 60 per cent when masks were used. It reportedly found that two-thirds of hamsters were infected within a week if masks were applied. According to study, infection rate dropped to over 15 per cent when surgical masks were effectively used on c of infected animals and by about 35 per cent when placed on c with healthy hamsters.
