Washington: Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a concession speech, where she officially conceded 2024 US Presidential election to rival Republican minee and President-elect Donald Trump, on campus of Howard University in Washington. During her dress, while expressing gratitude to all her supporters for putting faith in her, she motivated m to keep hope alive, saying that time is t to throw up mselves but to be prepared to remain engd in ir fight for democracy. Harris, who took to st at her alma mater in Washington before a crowd of devoted democrats, called Trump earlier in day and congratulated him.
In her heartfelt dress, she said that it time to be more organised, to be more mobilised and to remain engd in ir fight for people of America.

dressing American youths, Kamala Harris said, "You have capacity to do extraordinary good in world. To everyone who is watching: do t despair. This is t time to throw up our hands, this is time to roll up our sleeves, to organize, to mobilize and to stay engd."
At her concession speech, Harris conceded to Trump saying, “We must accept results of this election.”

US Vice President also thanked her husband, Doug Emhoff, US President Joe Biden and first ly Jill Biden along with her running mate, Minnesota Goverr Tim Walz.
Harris Emphasizes ‘Peaceful Transfer Of Power’
In her dress, Harris emphasized that Americans "owe loyalty t to a president or to a party, but to Constitution of United States.”

She said during her concession speech that while she conceded election, she did t concede "fight that fueled this campaign." However, she asserted that she called Trump to congratulate him on his victory and discuss a peaceful transfer of power. "Earlier today, I spoke with President-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with ir transition and that we will eng in a peaceful transfer of power," Harris stated.
Highlighted Reproductive Rights
In her speech, Harris highlighted her pledge to fight for "dreams, ambitions and aspirations" of Americans, including dream, "where women of America have freedom to make decisions about ir own body and t having ir government telling m what to do."

While Harris was delivering speech, her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, was in audience along with Nancy Pelosi, former House speaker, and Barbara Lee, both from Harris’ home state of California.
