New Delhi: Amid the ongoing and intensifying India-Canada Diplomatic Row, Jody Thomas, former National Security Adviser (NSA) has revealed in a recent testimony, how the Canada Police changed its track in the investigation of the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the Khalistani terrorist.

Former NSA On Canada Cops' Stand in Nijjar Killing Probe

At the foreign interference inquiry of Canada, former NSA Jody Thomas explained the stand of Canada Police on the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. According to Jody Thomas, initially, the intelligence and police investigation pointed towards a retaliation - the killing of Nijjar was in response to the murder of Ripudaman Singh Malik, an accused in the 1985 Air India Kanishka Bombing.

Jody Thomas further said that this investigation and/or assessment did not satisfy some members of the Canadian Sikh community and eventually, it was indicated by the intelligence that there may have been an angle of ‘extra judicial killing'.

Judy Thomas was the National Security Adviser at the time of Nijjar's killing and her testimony echoes the accusations made by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on India over the country's involvement in the Nijjar killing. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau testified on Wednesday before the country's foreign interference inquiry, revealing that he did not provide India with tangible proof regarding the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil. Trudeau acknowledged that Canada only shared intelligence, not definitive evidence, before publicly accusing India of involvement in Nijjar's death.

India however, has rejected these blasphemous claims and has said that Canada has not provided any evidence against India to back their allegations and accusations.
