Trudeau thanks Canadians for 'sending the Liberal team back to work'
The Prime Minister's Liberal minority government has been elected for the next tenure in Canadian general elections on October 22 with a majority of 156 seats.

The Canadian Prime Minister's Liberal minority government has been elected for the next tenure in general elections on October 22. Justin Trudeau and the Conservatives leader Andrew Scheer were among the top competitors this year, however, out of 338 parliamentary seats, the Conservatives were able to win 122 while the Liberals won the elections with 156 seats.

Justin Trudeau thanks Canadians
Soon after the Liberals won the elections, Justin Trudeau thanked the citizens for “rejecting division and negativity”. The re-elected PM also believes that Canadians have voted for a “progressive agenda and strong action on climate change”.
Trudeau also said that the citizens “are sending the Liberal team back to work with a clear mandate”.

The Liberal party leader also said the his “party promises to make life more affordable, will continue to fight climate change, will get guns off our streets and we will keep investing in Canadians”.
Furthermore, Trudeau also thanked his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau and his “very best” campaign team, candidates, staff and volunteers as none of this would have been possible without them and taking time to move Canada forward.

Will work hard for you, your families and your future: Trudeau
While the Canadians cheered for their re-elected Prime Minister, Trudeau also said that it was an honour to serve the citizens of the country for the past four years.

Trudeau concluded, “We take this responsibility seriously and we will work hard for you, your families and you future. And those who did not vote for the Liberals, our team will continue to serve them regardless of how they cast their ballots”.
He also took to Twitter to thank Canada "for having faith in us to move this country in the right direction."
Trudeau also thanked the leaders of other parties for taking part in an essential exercise of democracy and for choosing to serve the country by stepping up in the election campaigns along with the political life.
