From Republican side, Trump issued a lengthy statement on Truth Social and X in which he commented on attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh , an issue close to hearts of Hindu Americans. He also talked about protecting rights of Hindu community in US and globally, a move that was welcomed by Hindu Americans.

Insiders from both campaigns, who spoke on conditions of anymity, said this was part of ir effort to get Hindu votes in some of key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and rth Carolina.
Mid-level leaders of two campaigns also made visits to temples and or religious places of community in last week of campaign.

Both campaign insiders ted that in a closely contested race, “Hindus can be margin of victory”.
