President-elect Donald Trump is preparing to take strict action against undocumented migrants living in United States, a promise he me multiple times during his election campaign.  

Reports suggest that Trump plans to declare a national emergency to tackle border security issues and use military resources for mass deportation of undocumented migrants. Immigration was one of key issues during election, with Trump pledging to deport millions and secure border with Mexico.

On his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump reposted a statement by a conservative activist claiming he is rey to declare a national emergency to dress ‘Biden invasion’. post re, “prepared to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse Biden invasion through a mass deportation program.”

Immigration Hardliners in Cabinet  

Trump has started announcing his cabinet, which includes immigration hardliners. He has named former acting ICE chief Tom Homan as “border czar.” Homan, speaking earlier at Republican National Convention, warned undocumented migrants to “start packing.”  

According to authorities, around 11 million people are living in US without legal documentation. Trump’s deportation plan is expected to directly impact over 20 million families.

Controversial Rhetoric  

During his campaign, Trump repeatedly used harsh language against undocumented migrants, describing m as part of an “invasion” and claiming y bring crime to US. He also expressed plans to invoke Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to speed up deportations. Critics argue law is outdated and was last used during World War II to detain Japanese-Americans without trial.  

Trump’s immigration plans mark a sharp shift from Biden’s policies, setting stage for heated debates over ir implementation.
