US Law Enforcement on Monday used tear gas, rubber bullets, and or tactics to clear out peaceful protesters before given curfew at Lafayette Square in Washington DC so that US President Donald Trump could take a photo in front of St John's Church.
While curfew was 7 pm, protesters were tear-gassed around 6:30 pm. According to international media reports, law enforcement h given warning and firing was sudden. protesters were protesting against tragic death of George Floyd who was killed by a police officer. Washington DC Mayor calls it 'shameful'
Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has called US law enforcement's act as 'Shameful'. Taking to Twitter, he said that he h imposed a curfew at 7 pm, however, federal police used "munitions" on peaceful protestors around 25 minutes before. He furr urged Washington DC residents to go home and stay safe.

Protests against George Floyd's death
George Floyd's tragic death has t only angered millions across world but it has also fueled a fresh wave of protests in various US states. Several protestors also converged outside White House shouting "Black Lives Matter" and "I can't brea". focus of protests is alleged institutional bigotry and consequent brutality in American police forces. On Sunday, as many as 40 cities and Washington DC across United States imposed curfews in response to continuing protests. According to international media reports, around 5,000 National Guard members have been activated in 15 states, as well as in Washington DC, along with 2,000 or members who are prepared to activate if needed. Meanwhile, around 4,000 people across US States have been arrested during protests.

George Floyd's death
Police officer Derek Chauvin h handcuffed George Floyd and me him beg for breath after arresting him in Minnesota. In a video of incident that went viral all over social media, Chauvin was kneeling on Floyd's neck which resulted in his death. According to Commissioner of Minnesota Department of Public Safety (MDPS) John Harrington, police officer has been fired from his job and has been taken into custody by criminal bureau. He ded that a trial for case will begin soon, with officer facing third-degree murder and manslaughter charges.
