PM Modi Extends Wishes to Trump
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to newly elected American President, calling Trump his ‘friend.’ Modi wrote, "Heartiest congratulations my friend @realDonaldTrump on your historic election victory. As you build on the successes of your previous term, I look forward to renewing our collaboration to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership."
Netanyahu Calls Trump's Victory ‘Greatest Comeback’
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in a close U.S. presidential election. Netanyahu took to social media to send his wishes, writing in a post addressed to Trump and his wife, Melania, he said, "Congratulations on history’s greatest comeback! Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a powerful recommitment to the great alliance between Israel and America."
Ukrainian President Congratulates Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also congratulated Trump, expressing optimism about the future of U.S.-Ukraine relations under his leadership. Zelenskyy recalled their previous meeting in September, where they discussed the "Victory Plan" and ending Russian aggression against Ukraine.
He wrote in a long X post, " "Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump on his impressive election victory!"
"I recall our great meeting with President Trump back in September, when we discussed in detail the Ukraine-U.S. strategic partnership, the Victory Plan, and ways to put an end to Russian aggression against Ukraine," he added.
Macron Wishes Trump for Historic Return
French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday congratulated Donald Trump for his "historic return to the White House".
Macron posted on X: “Ready to work together as we were able to do during four years. With your convictions and mine. In respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity.”
El Salvador's President Calls Trump ‘President-Elect'
El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele was the first world leader to extend his congratulations, calling Trump the ‘president-elect.’
In an X Post, he wrote, "Congratulations to the President-Elect of the United States of America, @realDonaldTrump. May God bless and guide you,"
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer was among the first world leaders to extend wishes to Donald Trump as he addressed a rally in Florida to claim victory in the US presidential race on Wednesday.
Starmer said the "special relationship" between the UK and the US would continue to prosper under the new American administration after Trump clinched crucial battleground states in the US overnight.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban also praised Trump’s success, calling it ‘biggest comeback’ in an X Post. Orban has been a vocal supporter of Trump’s bid for the White House.
He wrote,"The biggest comeback in US political history! Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump on his enormous win. A much needed victory for the World!".
Dutch politician Geert Wilders joined in, celebrating on social media. “Congratulations President Trump! Congratulations America! Never stop, always keep fighting and win elections!” Wilders wrote on X, signaling the strong global reactions as Trump prepares to return to the presidency.
