The wedding of Akash Ambani, elder son of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani, and Shloka Mehta, youngest daughter of Russell Mehta, was a grand affair, to say the least.

Many prominent individuals from different fields were part of the extravagant affair. Be it from the arena of sports, politics, business or entertainment, the biggest names were present for the Ambani wedding.

While many images caught the eye, one, in particular, has taken the social media by storm. Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who had spent the first decade of IPL with Nita Mumbai Indians, posted a picture of him standing with two 'God's' from the field of sport and entertainment.

The grand wedding of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's elder son Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, the younger daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta, was organised at the Jio Gardens Mumbai. It was undoubtedly an extravagant affair as it hosted several celebrities across domains.

The wedding festivities of this royal affair began on February 23, 2019 with a grand bash in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Many Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor among others. The celebrations took place at the Badrutt Palace.

The celebrations in Switzerland saw performances by Chris Martin of Coldplay and The Chainsmokers.

A private musical night at Antilia, followed by the Mala and Mehendi function, a Sangeet ceremony and Anna Seva at the Jio World Centre, were also hosted by the Ambani family.
