Two Killed After Israeli Airstrike Hits a Vehicle on a Beirut Highway

Lebanon's Health Ministry says an Israeli airstrike targeted a vehicle on a main highway north of Beirut killing two people.
It was not immediately clear who was in the SUV when it was struck near the coastal town of Jounieh on the main highway linking Beirut with north Lebanon.
Israeli airstrikes have killed scores of operatives with Lebanon's Hezbollah group and Palestinian factions over the past months.
In late September, an Israeli airstrike south of Beirut leveled six buildings and killed Hezbollah's leader and one of its founders Hassan Nasrallah.
