Two wheelchair-bound elderly Indian women complete 5-km Dubai run on Friday. Kusum Bhargava, 86, and Eiswari Amma, 78 participated with their families.

Two Indian women who are in their 70's and 80's have successfully completed a 5-km run on wheelchairs in Dubai, UAE. As per reports, the women named Kusum Bhargava, 86, and Eiswari Amma, 78, participated in the Dubai run on November 8 in which they made this achievement. Speaking on the experience, Bhargava who was probably the oldest participant in the 5-km run said that her experience was great. Expressing her excitement, Bhargava said that she met many people who took a photo with her. The wheelchair-bound credited her daughter-in-law for her achievement.
Amma was marvelled by the architecture of Dubai
Similarly, Amma from Sharjah participated in the run with her sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren. It was her family who pushed her in the entire race. Speaking on her experience in Dubai, Amma said that her son used to take her to Dubai to show the Sheikh Zayed Road lined with beautiful buildings. While she was seeing the road is on the ground, it felt truly amazing, she added.
Amma said that she couldn't help but marvel the architecture of the amazing buildings, especially the upcoming Museum of the Future. She called the Dubai run an amazing initiative where not only people get to enjoy fitness activities with their families, but they also get to see many people of different nationalities.
