Two-Year-Old Locked Up In SUV, Dies Due To Heat As Father Played Video Games

The girl was locked up inside the air conditioned SUV, however, when the mother noticed her child inside the car, the air condition was not working.

UNITED STATES: A man in Arizona has been booked under murder charges after his two-year-old girl allegedly died due to heat exposure inside the car. The incident took place when the father left the toddler inside the car whose temperature shot up to 42.7 degree Celsius (108.9 Fahrenheit), an investigation into the incident has revealed. 

As per the New York Post, the man, identified as Christopher Scholtes, 37, left the child inside the air conditioned Honda SUV for three hours which was parked outside his home in a town of Arizona's Marana.

Reports say that the father of the two-year-old girl was allegedly busy in videogames while the child was locked inside the hot car.

Sadly, when the toddler's mother, who was not present at home, arrived, she found the child inside the car and was in unresponsive state.

Finding her daughter in an unresponsive condition, the mother tried to perform the CPR until the first response team arrived at the scene. Though the child was rushed to the nearest medical facility, the doctors declared her brought dead.

The law enforcement agencies have charged the father under second-degree murder and child abuse.

The incident happened last month in July. According to reports, the parents of the deceased child have not issued any statement on this tragic incident.
