Amid political turmoil over Brexit, Britain goes to polls to elect its new government

Polling began in Britain to elect their new government and secure its fate amid political tension over Brexit. The voting will end at 10 pm as per London time.

For past few months, Britain has been facing political turmoil over Brexit. However, on December 12, polling began in Britain to elect ir new government and secure its fate. general elections are being held after two years and for second time after country voted in favour of Brexit. voting will close at 10 p.m according to London time.

general elections will decide fate of Britain and its position in world politics. It is also a deciding moment at a time when people of Britain are divided on issue of Brexit. outcome of elections will decide wher Britain will exit from European Union or re will be furr delay.  vote will be cast among two major parties of UK, offering different choices to citizens. results of elections will shape Britain’s sense of itself, its ecomy, Brexit and also its relationship with or countries, especially United States.

According to political analysts, re are several possibilities depending on result of elections. If Conservative Party and Prime Minister Boris Johnson secure a majority n y will take forward Brexit and possibility of second referendum and secure Britain's place with European Union will be lost. According to opinion polls, Conservative Party is expected to secure a majority. After six-week election campaign, opinion polls revealed that Conservative Party can win in election with le of 10 points. If results of opinion polls match those of election, it would put an end to Europe’s political and tre bloc by January 2020.

In latest prediction of opinion polls by YouGov, Conservative Party is expected to win 28 seat majority but it is less than half of total 68 seats. It concluded that in such a scenario eir Conservative Party will have to form a coalition government or warned of a Hung Parliament which would furr delay process of Brexit.

On or hand, if Labour Party being led by hard-left Jeremy Corbyn secures a majority or even mans to secure eugh seats to form a coalition government, n as promised by Corbyn, he would begin rical transformation of ecomy of Britain under socialist banner. Currently, Britain is facing a wave of xious, hyperpartisan politics. People of Britain have distinct opinions on issue of Britain leaving EU. country is divided into Leavers and Remainers. re is an atmosphere of terror and horror among people. Family and friends are fighting each or over issues of frictionless debates. Several MPs in Parliament are hurling charges of prison and surrender at each or in Parliament. women of Labour and Conservative Parties were scared of being physically attacked.
