Artist who 'kidnapped' Banksy's sculpture opposes sale of stolen statue
Artist who 'kidnapped' the Drinker claims that Sotheby is trying to sell a stolen statue. The statue which was listed in the auction house was later removed.

' Drinker' as statue is called was originally left by anymous British artist on display in 2004 in a small square near Shaftesbury Avenue in London. Drinker was originally estimated to see for between $970,950 to $1.29 million.
This controversy comes only a few weeks after Banksy dominated Soby's Frieze Week auctions with his 'Devolved Parliament'.
