According to reports, n American first couple Barack and Michelle Obama presented Queen with an iconic collection of memorabilia from her late far, King George VI's last visit to United States. It also included invitations and tes at a lunch in 2011, as per reports, and 94-year-old British monarch was deeply touched by gift.

Capricia Penavic Marshall, US Chief of protocol, while speaking to a publication said that gift was symbolic of United States' special relationship with United Kingdom and particularly with Royal family.

Marshall ded that Obamas were very fond of British monarch. President Obama and his wife also presented Queen with a floral brooch which she wore when incumbent President Donald Trump visited UK in 2019. Marshall, during interaction, said that Queen Elizabeth was proud to wear present and it showcased unity between two nations.
