Best if US keeps out of UK election: Boris Johnson tells Donald Trump

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that it would be the “best” thing if United States President Donald Trump doesn’t get involved in the UK elections.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that it would be “best” thing if US President Donald Trump doesn’t get involved in UK elections. Speaking to a London-based rio station, Johnson called United States a close friend and ally saying y "tritionally" don’t get involved in each or’s election campaign.

Trump comments on election

In October, Trump commented on upcoming UK elections and opined that Johnson should seal a pact with Brexit Party leer Nigel Far claiming Labour Party leer Jeremy Corbyn would be b for Britain. Senior Conservative leers are wary of fact that Trump could upset campaign by wing into elections during NATO meeting scheduled in London next week.

'Get Brexit done'

Johnson’s hour-long talk was majorly centred around impending Brexit where British PM assured that he will deliver it by January 31 if he retains power. In manifesto released by Conservative party, Johnson wrote an introduction to it with a central me of ‘Get Brexit done’. “For last three and a half years, this country has felt trapped, like a lion in a c. We have all shared same frustration – like some super-green supercar blocked in traffic. We can see way ahe. We kw where we want to go – and we kw why we are stuck,” wrote Johnson highlighting significance of upcoming elections.

Johnson said that Brexit will end delock and restore confidence and certainty to businesses and families. According to British Prime Minister, Brexit will le to a pent-up tidal wave of investment into Britain and n y can focus on priorities of British people, funding NHS and tackling cost of living. “And as things stand, re is only one way to get Brexit done - and that is to return a Conservative Government with a working majority on December 12th,” said Johnson.
