Johnson threatens to withdraw bill
In a scenario where British MP’s reject timetable and EU offers an extension to Brexit deline, UK PM has threatened to pull bill and seek a general election inste of delaying UK withdrawal’s from EU beyond October 31 deline. After publishing EU Withdrawal Agreement Bill, or so-called EU divorce bill, on Monday night, UK PM Johnson opened it up for debate by MPs in House of Commons on Tuesday with plans to hold a vote on a sped-up timetable for its pass by end of week.
While Opposition MPs accused him of trying to dash through 110-p legislation without proper scrutiny, Johnson threatened to remove Bill entirely if his timetable for its pass is rejected and revert to demanding a General Election inste. Johnson dressing MP’s stated, "I will in way allow months more of this. If Parliament refuses to allow Brexit to happen and inste... decides to delay everything until January, or possibly longer, in circumstances n [can] government continue with this. And with great regret, I must say that Bill will have to be pulled and we will have to go forward to a general election and I will argue at that election, let's get Brexit done," he declared.

Johnson's biggest challenge yet to come
This proved unpalatable to rrn Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), which withdrew its support to Johnson's mirity Conservative Party government in a crunch vote over weekend. This has meant Johnson has struggled to get numbers required for his agreement to cross parliamentary threshold. With new Withdrawal Bill set for its crucial second reing vote later on Tuesday evening, Johnson will be hoping for eugh numbers to defect from Opposition benches to cross finish line. However, his biggest challenge will come in form of a second Commons vote soon after, termed programme motion. This would give Johnson required backing to rush through various parliamentary sts involved to see EU Withdrawal Agreement Bill through in time to meet October 31 Brexit deline, without requiring ar extension from EU.
