Coronavirus: Britain advises citizens to leave China, not undertake any travel to mainland
Britan has advised its citizens to leave China if they are in the mainland and also advises them not to undertake any not essential travel amid the outbreak

According to a statement by Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, safety and security of British people will always be government's top priority.

His statement also claimed that if re are British citizens in Hubei province that wished to be evacuated British government would continue to work round clock to allow it.

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic have alrey cancelled ir flights to and from China. British Foreign Office also said that it would be recalling some staff and dependents from British Embassy and consulates. essential staff that would be required to provide consular support would remain in China.
Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in its statement also said that it vises against all but essential travel to mainland China in its entirety. According to FCO site, British Consulates-General in Wuhan and Chongqing were closed. statement ded that elderly and those who h pre-existing medical conditions were under heightened risk.

According to statement, as situation deteriorates ability of British Embassy and Consulates to provide assistance to British nationals from within China also becomes limited.
