British Government on Tuesday has decided to end a four-year suspension of flights to Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh. British embassy in Cairo said in an official statement that anuncement follows ir aviation security experts’ close cooperation with ir Egyptian counterparts. British Ambassor to Egypt Geoffrey ams said in a statement that y will work toger with any airlines who desire to resume ir flight services. He said that decision was taken after cooperation between security experts from both countries.

British Minister for Middle East and rth Africa, Andrew Murrison, speaking on decision said that UK has cleared that flights to Sharm el-Sheikh should resume as soon as security situation allows. He said that he is pleased that y can w anunce lifting of present restrictions. Britain has prompted against everything except basic travel via air to and from Egyptian Sharm el-Sheik. flight suspension was followed by bombing of Russian airlines which was claimed by Islamic State group. dely attack killed 224 people who were on board including tourists and crew members. Since attack, Russia vised halting all flights to Egypt for several years and some more countries to stop flight operations to Sharm el-Sheikh. This decision was welcomed by Egyptian civil aviation ministry as y said that it is an indicator of trustful relationship between two nations.
