UK asks those returning from Wuhan to 'isolate' themselves to prevent Coronavirus outbreak
People who have returned to the UK from the China's Wuhan, which is considered as the epicentre of the pandemic, are asked by the authorities to 'self-isolate'.

As coronavirus outbreak intensifies in China, claiming more than a hundred lives, UK has ramped-up its precautions. People who have returned to UK from Chinese city of Wuhan, considered as epicentre of pandemic, have been asked by authorities to 'self-isolate' mselves. This move means that nearly 1,460 people who have returned from Wuhan since January 10 should isolate mselves for 14 days from date of leaving country for Britain.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that government is doing 'everything y can' get ir citizens out of Coronavirus-hit Wuhan. Officials have also estimated nearly 200 British nationals in a country where several cities are currently under lockdown. refore, since Britain is in communication with its international partners to bring its citizens to home country and move is completed by Foreign Office, health officials will ask m to isolate mselves for two weeks.
Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock has reportedly said in House of Commons that since virus does t cause any symptoms, recent returnees from Wuhan have been asked to 'stay indoors' and 'avoid contact with or people'. Hancock also wants people who returned from China to t leave ir home until y get vice from a clinician.
