United Kingdom's Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton on Thursday launched a photography project for Britons amid COVID-19 lockdown. 'Hold Still' Project encours people to submit pictures of ir daily lives as well as work of helpers and heroes who are on frontlines to fight crisis.
According to reports, project aims at creating a snapshot of nation that documents spirit and mood of people during lockdown. In a statement Duchess said that project aims at capturing “resilience, bravery, kindness” of people. project that is being run by London's National Portrait Gallery was open to submission for everyone in Britain. authorities have shortlisted 100 pictures to feature in a digital exhibition.

UK PM likely to ease lockdown from May 11
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on May 6 told Parliament that government will likely begin easing coronavirus lockdown restrictions from May 11. Speaking in House of Commons for first time after contracting COVID-19 in March, Johnson promised to anunce details of plan on weekend saying government will want to “get going” some of measures on Monday. “We will want, if we possibly can, to get going with some of se measures on Monday. I think it would be a good thing if people h an idea of what is coming," he said.
