Black History Month: 'Fierce' ballerinas from Beaumont to perform in Texas
Young ballerinas that went viral last month for a group photoshoot they did during Black History Month have returned to rehearsals for an upcoming show.

A photo of a group of young ballerinas that went viral earlier this month for a photoshoot y did during Black History Month has resurfaced after group decided to do play again. dancers went viral earlier this month and will put on ir spring show on February 1, at Westbrook Performing Arts Center located in Beaumont.
'Empowering' photoshoot
photos were taken by Brandie Perry of Bee Photography who uploed m on her Facebook p. According to reports, it was just a happy coincidence that day family of dancers decided to take photos was Black History Month. As per reports photoshoot was just simply supposed to be a bonding activity for girls but turned out to become a symbol of empowerment for black women.

photoshoot was, in fact, idea of Roshunda Vallery, who is mor of Taraji, one of 10 girls in photo. idea occurred to Vallery back in December last year when she saw a photo of ballerinas and sent it across to or parents. families could immediately decide on a day when all of m were free and eventually decided to hold it in December. All ten girls are part of iRule Dance Studio, south of Texas.

When is Black History Month?
Black History Month is an annual observance that first originated in United States. It is also kwn as African-American History Month. While it originated in US, it has reportedly received official recognition from Cana, Nerlands, Ireland and United Kingdom as well.

It is celebrated as a way to remember important people and important events for African diaspora. In US and Cana, it is celebrated in February but in Nerlands, Ireland and UK it is observed in October.
