Kate Middleton, Fighting Cancer, 'May Never Come Back' to Her Duties: Report

London: Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, battling cancer, might never come back to her loyal duties, US Weekly reported citing sources.

The report suggests that insider said, Kate "may never come back in the role that people saw her in before."

Adding further, the insider revealed that Kate who was once seen in front and centre with her husband performing royal duties, is currently "reevaluating what she's going to be able to take on when she comes back," after her preventative chemotherapy as part of her treatment.

Earlier, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that when Kate returns to her duties "it will be (based) on medical advice, and it will be very carefully balanced."

This comes weeks after a report claimed that Kate might appear publicly as a working royal for the rest of the year.

A source told The Daily Beast that Kate's diary for this year is "empty."

"There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year," the source said.

The insider also added that Kate would not rule out another video message updating people about Kate Middleton's health status.

Meanwhile, Prince Williams has assured all the royal's well-wishers of his wife's well-being during recent engagements.
