As United Kingdom government anunced a coronavirus lockdown, one of country’s top doctors vised couples to make a choice to stay toger or apart. clarification came from Jenny Harries, deputy chief medical officer, who was asked wher couples who lived apart could socialise at all under new restrictions. While speaking at Downing Street press conference, Harries said that couples who do t cohabit, y must wir t meet at all, or else quickly move in toger.
Harries said, “ alternative might be that for quite a significant period going forward y should just test strength of ir relationship ..test really carefully your strength of feeling”.

UK Health Minister Matt Hancock furr ded, “Stay with household eir toger or apart, but keep it that way while we go forward because orwise, we will t all be working towards achieving our outcome. re you go: make your choice and stick with it.”

On March 24, Britain ordered a three-week lockdown to tackle spre of coronavirus. UK government ordered all n-essential shops and services to shut and y also banned garing of more than two people. Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s anuncement came after that recommendation by government were igred. While speaking to an international media outlet, London Mayor Siq Khan said that UK capital is a ‘few weeks ahe’ of rest of country and way virus is spreing faster than government and visers h thought. Meanwhile, in a bid to support ecomy, UK Finance Minister Rishi Sunak unveiled an ‘unprecedented’ w boost. As per reports, Sunak anunced that UK government will be paying 80 per cent of ws for employees who are t working. new measure is ‘first time in history’ that UK government will step in and pay people’s ws.
