According to international media reports, Buckingham Palace said that it is longer tenable for couple to keep word 'royal' in ir branding as it is inconsistent. couple will be formally stepping down as senior royal members from March 31 and y will longer carry out duties on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II reafter.

Word 'royal' needs to be reviewed

While speaking to an international media outlet, a source from Buckingham Palace said that as Duke and Duchess of Sussex are stepping back as senior members of royal family and will work towards financial independence, use of word 'royal' in this context, needed to be 'reviewed'.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already spent thousands of pounds on new Sussex Royal website and y have also registered label as a global trademark for a range of items. Furrmore, couple has also taken steps to set up ir own charitable organisation named Sussex Royal, Foundation of Duke and Duchess of Sussex. However, w y will reportedly need to re-brand.
