Prince William, Princess Eugenie depart from palace

Britain's Prince William was seen outside his home at Kensington Palace in London on Tuesday amid the ongoing media circus surrounding the British royal family.

Prince Harry, William's younger brother, and his wife Meghan last week indicated their desire to to step back from most royal duties and become financially independent.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's plans have received tentative approval from Queen Elizabeth II, who said she and other senior royals regretted the decision but understood and respected it.

The Queen, William and Harry were among those who had a crisis summit on Monday afternoon at the Queen's palatial Sandringham House retreat in eastern England.

William and Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie was also seen leaving Kensington Palace on Tuesday morning.
