Protests took place across UK on Wednesday in solidarity with George Floyd and Black Lives Matter movement. In London and Manchester people "took knee" in a symbolic act that has become synymous with BLM campaign. It followed a series of demonstrations and protest actions that took place over last few weeks in UK, US and across globe. y were sparked by death of Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25 after a white police officer knelt on his neck for several minutes even after he stopped moving.
